Welcome

Welcome!

LutheranHANDS is a ministry dedicated to helping youth grow spiritually through service. As part of the ministry, we organize Mission Trips to parts of the United States where a natural disaster or other crisis has left a community to rebuild. It is our goal to bring hope to the communities affected by terrible events and allow youth to become closer to God through the good work being done in those communities.  Youth will have the opportunity to learn a new trade, speak with residents, tour communities, develop friendships and community among other youth, grow spiritually, and make a difference in the world.

LutheranHANDS is pleased to announce local mission opportunities!

LutheranHANDS is working with the Lower Susquehanna Synod to provide ministry to the city of Harrisburg.  The ministry site will be Trinity Lutheran Church located at 1256 Rolleston St, Harrisburg, PA 17104.  The big picture of what the ministry will be is still being determined as the community and existing ministries in the area are being visited.  However, there is a way for you to get involved right now!

August 28th from 11am – 3pm there will be a cookout for the community (Hall Manor and surrounding area).  We are hoping to provide games for the kids and other clinics for adults.  We also hope to collect school supplies for students in the area.

Check out the "Local Outreach" section of the website for more info!
